A simple question led to our company’s initial formation. Why, in Australia, is it impossible to find a fully recycled, reusable, food safe, drink bottle? The research began and the answer was far more complex than our founders had envisaged. Various calls to bottle manufacturers and recycling companies took place and it was established that no-one had seemingly yet been able to achieve the manufacturing technology required to create such a product that supported the circular economy.
After considerable research and conversations with experts about the complexity of manufacturing a safe, food-grade, light, strong, recycled and recyclable bottle we came across Buoy LLC and soon identified that, after 4 years of hard work and persistence, what the team at Buoy LLC had achieved and developed was remarkable.
Buoy has developed the most sustainable drink bottle on the market, and we are now the sole authorised importer and distributor for the range of sustainable Buoy products in Australia.
